Booking.com surfaced this great hotel that had everything I needed for an extended stay. My husband and I were greeted by Brad, who is an exceptional individual that works the front desk. Thank you, Brad, for making me comfortable and keeping my dog and I safe during our late dog outings. He secures the hotel grounds by doing hourly walks to monitor shady characters that may be prowling the parking lot. Front lobby is bright and welcoming, with immediate view of the common area with complimentary coffee to PC + printer. Couple steps toward the elevator, the laundry room is in view, which I felt very safe doing laundry knowing staff members were nearby. I brought my own detergent. Room #318 was fantastic, with a window view of the parking lot to watch my car. Less than a 5 min walk to Walmart, Electrify America 350KW charge station, Honda, Burger King - all very convenient. It was very quiet at all hours, except for those inconsiderate guests that slammed their metal doors at 6:30am. If you put on your fan to your white noise, all sounds can be muffled. The well maintained Yakima Greenbelt/Greenway and a park with lush grass (in September!) has a long path, adjacent to the Yakima River, right out the side door of the hotel. 1) Room Size: Great! Enough for up to 4 adults 2) Queen Beds: Very comfortable and clean 3) Kitchen: Equipped (had to ask) with pots and stirring utensils, full size fridge, microwave, small sink. Front desk gives you paper plates to plastic ware. Walmart has plastic plates (.50 each), cups (.50 each), utensils (4 metal spoons/forks/knives $1.97), porcelain mugs ($1.00) 4) Bathroom: Bright and spacious with great water pressure 5) Dogs - Each $20 per stay, not per night. 6) Great lighting, loads of outlets to Wi-Fi! 7) A/C - Perfect 8) Elevator: Fast or stairs! 9) Incredibly quiet at nighttime 10) Lovely gated backyard with BBQ facility! Such a BONUS!

Check in was smooth and pleasant. The young lady at the front desk was professional and super helpful. The room and bathroom were extremely clean, the bed was comfortable. The hotel do not provide kitchen utensils but there is walmart around the corner. After reading reviews I was worried about noise but there was none. Some guests smoked and talked near the hotel but everything was quiet inside. Also, I did not see any homeless camps nearby, so I stopped worrying about my car.

The location was perfect for our needs because we were in town for a fastpitch tournament for our daughter. The fields were just a few minutes drive away for us, and not far from stores and restaurants. Since we were at the ballpark all day long for games, we didn't need a lot of extra bells and whistles - this place checked off all the boxes for our needs for the short time we were there and we would definitely stay here again.

My Place was a dream for traveling with my dog! There is a large fenced in area in the back which allowed us to play before getting back on the road again. The outdoor space would be great for humans too during warm weather! The front desk was very kind and helpful. During check in, the front staff person was juggling many tasks, she stayed calm and kind throughout the entire process. Thank you for a good experience.

This is the second time I've stayed here, and it was very close and convenient to the Yakima Convention Center. Coffee was fresh. Staff was friendly.
